MoonDog EA is a multi-strategy breakout Expert Advisor developed specifically for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5.
The system combines five independent breakout strategies designed to identify different breakout and price-expansion conditions.
MoonDog does not use martingale, recovery mode, grid recovery, lot multiplication or loss averaging.
Every trade is opened with its own predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit. Losing positions are never followed by larger recovery trades.
Break-even, trailing and MoonLock are protective trade-management functions. They can adjust the protection of an existing position but never increase the lot size or open additional recovery positions.

Trading Strategy
MoonDog is designed specifically for XAUUSD breakout trading.
Five independent strategy modules monitor different breakout conditions. When the required conditions are detected, the EA can prepare Buy Stop or Sell Stop pending orders.
Each strategy operates independently instead of relying on a single entry model.
After a position is opened, the trade is managed according to predefined risk parameters.

Risk Management
MoonDog supports both fixed-lot and percentage-based risk management.
The selected risk applies to an individual trade. Since the five strategies operate independently, more than one position can occasionally be active at the same time.
Total account exposure can therefore be higher than the risk assigned to a single position.
Users should select their risk according to account balance, broker specifications, acceptable drawdown and personal risk tolerance.
Conservative settings are recommended when testing MoonDog for the first time.
Broker and Execution Conditions
XAUUSD breakout trading can be sensitive to execution quality.
Spread, commission, slippage, execution latency, liquidity, Stop Level restrictions and differences between broker XAUUSD specifications can affect live results.
Low-spread accounts with stable execution conditions are recommended.
Users should test MoonDog with their own broker and account type before using real capital.
Backtesting
MoonDog can be tested directly in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.
For more realistic testing, real ticks and realistic trading costs should be used whenever available.
MoonDog does not use martingale sequences, recovery trades or increasing lot progressions to generate its results.
Historical performance is not a guarantee of future performance.
Live trading results may differ from backtests because of changing market conditions, spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity and execution quality.
Installation and Setup
MoonDog can be installed directly through the MetaTrader 5 Market.
Recommended settings and SET files are available for users who want a starting configuration.
Before using MoonDog on a real account, users are encouraged to test their selected configuration in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account.
